Our Director & Principal
Sarah Earhart
Hi, I am Ms. Sarah! I have been the Director of Concordia Learning Center since May of 2023. My two daughters have attended CLC since 2016 and we love this place! In early 2023, I was approached by Ms. Sue and Ms. Deanna regarding the position of Director, as Ms. Sue, our former director, was planning her retirement. The rest is history! I have enjoyed every day in this position since I started and I look forward to the many days and years to come. I love children and watching them learn has been a surprise reward in my new position. I am also excited to take on duties including managing our center’s staffing schedule and family wait list, as well as give tours to prospective families. Prior to working at CLC, I worked as a Registered Dietitian in worksite wellness and clinical settings for the past 17 years.
When I’m not at CLC, I can be found spending time with my family! Together we enjoy being outdoors, walking or biking to the neighborhood park, or curling up with a good book!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the learning center. I would love to give you a tour and answer any questions!
Ms. Sarah
Deanna Smith
Hi, I am Principal Ms. Deanna and I have been with Concordia Lutheran Elementary for 4 years. I have a background in elementary education, school counseling, and administration for over 15+ years. My son started at CLC when he was 18 months, 6.5 years ago, and ever since my family has all felt like CLC was part of who we are and has always made us feel like family.
When I do find free time, I enjoy watching the Dallas Cowboys and Utah Jazz with my husband Sterling, eating cheeseburgers and pizza, playing with my kids Corbin and Shae, and working out at Orange Theory Fitness! I am also the kindergarten elementary teacher, and I work closely with all staff, students, and families.
I am blessed to be here with my “family” daily.
Ms. Deanna
About Us
Concordia Lutheran Elementary (CLC) is an accredited classical school through CCLE (Consortium for Classical Lutheran Education) and NLSA (National Lutheran School Accreditation) which makes us the only Lutheran school in the valley with dual accreditations. CLC educates students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade. We are proud to teach the classical curriculum, Chapel, Latin, ukulele, art, coding, typing, and much more in our daily schedule. Our class sizes are small which allows for individualized attention and professional relationships between students and teachers.

CLC is an early childhood learning center for all ages from infants through 6th grade. CLC started 11 years ago and has been thriving ever since. Our classrooms are each focused on play-based learning as it is proven children learn and grow best this way. We also use the Classical Curriculum for our educational piece. Our children at CLC are loved and well taken care of as our caregivers are dedicated to their students and their growth edcuationally.

What Parents are Saying
Brittni Clark
Moving to Utah from out of state with no family made me nervous when finding care for our daughter. The minute we met Ms. Sue and the staff we knew we found our Utah family. The staff care for the kids just like their own children and are always doing fun activities, learning manners, and always learning new things with them. My daughter loves going to Concordia Learning Center every day. I love picking her up knowing she is just as loved there as she is at home. Can’t say enough nice things about CLC!

My children have been going to CLC (Concordia Learning Center) for almost 4 years and from day one they have loved going. CLC is more than a daycare/business it is a community. They focus not only on the school basics/fundamentals but also values and spirituality which are important to me. I feel at ease dropping off my children because I know they are in a safe, yet oh so FUN environment! All the teachers genuinely care and love children. You can tell by their smiling faces and attitudes that they enjoy and take pride in what they do.

I love CLC/HTLS and won’t send my daughter anywhere else! They are attentive, loving, and patient. My daughter has attended since she was three months old, and they have become true partners in helping me raise her. I have and will continue to recommend their child care services – the staff members are the best around!
